What is Aeronautical Engineering? Aeronautical Engineering is a field of engineering that deals with the development of aircraft and spacecraft.

Required Training In order to be an aeronautical engineer you must have a bachelors degree in aerospace engineering, some employers accept equivalent degrees in engineering. You must have a professional engineering license for some positions

Skills and Characteristics Aeronautical engineers must have great attention to detail, are creative, good at mathematics, have to be a good team player, and must think logically. Aeronautical engineers must also have excellent communication skills.
