3. The Bully Fish by Michael DeJohn

5. The bully fish was huge. He made fun of the little fish. He made fun of the little fish in the big blue sea.

7. It’s Monday, Bully fish is thinking that it is going to be a LONG week. It won’t be a hard week, but the bully fish has a lot of little fish he wants to bully.

9. In the deep blue sea, bully fish is bullying little fishes all day long. He wrecks into their lockers and thinks it’s party time!

11. “Why do you always bully us? Don’t you know it hurts our feelings?” cried the little fish.

13. “I’m always left out! I’m not little, and you all have lots of friends, and I have none!” screams bully fish.

15. “Why are we arguing? The little fish and I get real tense and nervous,” pleaded the little fish.

17. The little fish suggests, “Why don’t we settle this? We will have a race.”

19. One little fish squawks, “Well, if you win, you can be friends with all my friends. Also, you have to be nice.”

20. Finish Line

21. Michael the shark shouts, “On your mark, get set – Go!” Bully fish and little fish are swimming to the finish line. All at once, they both realize they would be tied!

23. So they reach the finish line together. Bully fish and little fish agree that it was a tough race. Best of all, they agreed to be friends and NO MORE BULLYING!!

24. Michael DeJohn is a sophomore at Lawrence County Career and Technical Center. Michael is enrolled in the Auto Technology program, and he is from the New Wilmington Area School District.
