4 FOOD THE EAR OF ROASTED CORN AND "SPEARS" ARE VERY POPULAR FOOD IN HUILA. THE TYPICAL FOOD IS LECHONA THE TAMALE IS A FOOD CONSUMPTION NOT ONLY IN THE FESTIVE CELEBRATIONS, BUT ALSO IN THE DAILY LIFE OF HUILA. ACHIRA THE CAKE IS ONE OF THE FLAGSHIP PRODUCTS OF GASTRONOMY

5 ACTIVITIES THE MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THE FESTIVAL ARE: AQUATIC PARADES FOLKLORE PARADES PRESENTATION OF DIFFERENT DANCE GROUPS ADORN THE HOLIDAYS. HORSE RIDING IS ONE OF THE MOST TYPICAL EXPRESSIONS OF FOLK CULTURE HUILA

6 TRADITION THE NATIONAL FESTIVAL OF BAMBUCO STARTED TO HONOR SAN JUAN BAUTISTA. THE TYPICAL DANCE IS BAMBUCO, THERE’S SELECT THE POPULAR QUEEN OF BAMBUCO. THE FESTIVAL PROGRAM INCLUDES A PARADE OF GOATS ON THE MAIN STREETS OF THE CAPITAL OF HUILA.

7 THE PARTICIPATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUTH IN THE FESTIVITIES, ENSURES THAT POPULAR CULTURE REMAINS HUILA ALONG GENERATIONS
