Before You Start: An Internal Audit ACTIVITIES BENEFICIARIES - Who will benefit? NEED – Why are we doing it? OUTCOMES – What difference will the project make? PROJECT PLANNING – Is the project likely to succeed? Date

Before You Start: An Internal Audit What is your project? Can you write a succinct case statement ? It’s not about the building. It’s about the people using the building. What is your current community usage? Forecasted usage? Accessibility? Date

Before You Start: An Internal Audit Can you find your governing document? What is your legal status? Are you allowed to fundraise? Is there a limit on how much you can fundraise? Are you familiar with the Charity Commission’s rules and regulations? Date

Are all documents ‘linked’? Buildings Maintenance Plan Business Plan, VAT reclaim, in-kind volunteer time Date
