5. Rome, May 2014 Sample design: Two-stage stratified sampling -Primary sampling units (PSU): Census Sections (Areas with 500-3000 inhabitants. About 36.000 in Spain). -Secondary sampling units (SSU): Family dwellings (18 m.) Strata.- PSU’s stratification process is performed according to the size of the municipality which the census section belongs to. A maximum of 9 strata are defined in each province (NUTS3).
