Question #2: How do the setting, conflicts, and antagonists influence the development of a hero? The setting, conflicts, and antagonists influence the development of my hero because the more hardships and conflicts they face the more likely they are to be more motivated and inspired to show people that they wont give up no matter what they are put through. Some people who claim they are a hero might end up walking away but I would say with everything robin has been through from growing up even to now she is definitely a hero probably to many people. Other people may as well go through many conflicts while reaching where they are today but they show that nothing will let them down or get to them and no matter what they are put through they are strong and can overcome anything.

Question 3:How does a hero reflect his/her particular culture and society? My hero reflects her particular culture and society in a very good and inspirational way. She has wanted to help pregnant woman with their birthing experience ever since her sister passed away from complications with her pregnancy. (Bio: Robin Lim )

Question #4: How does a hero represent his/her time period and geographical area? Robin represents her time period and geographical area in a way that nobody would ever be able to take from her. She has done everything she can to make sure pregnant women get the best experience while pregnant, giving birth and even after the baby is born. She has helped many women in her country especially Indonesia. ('Mother Robin, CNN)

Various cultures reward/recognize their hero(s) by many different ways such as: –They could throw big events to recognize them or even a small event such as a small get together with a few of robins closest friends or families and throw a small party. –Give awards out to the heroes –Even just telling your hero(s) about how much you admire them for what they have done could be beneficial to that person.

Question #6: What actions make him/her a hero in your eyes? Robin Lim is a hero in my eyes because: –Her sister passing away because of complications inspired her to do something she might have not even dreamed of doing before. ('Mother Robin. CNN ) –After Robin’s younger sister passed away, Robin and her husband sold their house that they had in Hawaii with their kids and moved to Indonesia because women were 300 times more likely to die in childbirth then any other state. (Robin Lim Named CNN Hero. The Manila Paper)

Question #7: How could the actions of this hero make a difference in the world ? The actions of Robin could make a difference because: –If other women see how much pregnant women could benefit from what Robin has and still is doing they might begin doing it as well. –Robin may not be able to convince everyone to become a midwife but showing the actions robin is doing could possibly inspire other women and maybe even men to enter the nursing field even if it doesn’t have to do with pregnancies.

Question #8:Do the actions of your hero influence many people ? I do think that the actions of Robin do influence many people because: –She has helped many pregnant women who couldn’t afford prenatal care in any other hospital or anything else either overcome the depression that came along with not having anything or any support and gave them free prenatal care along with other benefits as well. –They only paid about $8 compared to going to an actually hospital where they were most likely to be spending $70 or more. (Ruffins, Ebonne. Mother Robin‘. CNN )

Question #9: Were there any problems/complications in helping get where you are today ? Robin’s sister passing away was very hard on Robin. ( Jewell, Wendy) She was also a mother of 8 kids and she raised them with her husband in Bali. (Robin Lim – Wikipedia)
11
Question #10: How does being recognized as a hero make you feel ? I would imagine that Robin feels a little emotional at times Mainly I think she feels happy and very excited for people to be recognizing her for what she does. She would also probably feel very inspired.
12
Question #11: Are the multiple different culturized people that your hero helps ? Robin Lim has mainly only dedicated her life to helping pregnant women in Indonesia. The women she helps out in Indonesia are mainly all poor and can’t afford things such as medical aid, prenatal care and even birthing services as well.
13
Question #12: Does your hero that you chose inspire you to do something and follow in his/her footsteps? I think I would enjoy doing something that might pertain to this but I would also enjoy working with other people as well not just the pregnant women I would love working with the baby that had been delivered though because I love infants and kids as well.
14
Question # 13: How will this affect your hero's life later on ? I think Robin’s life story and her history of helping pregnant women through their pregnancy and even making sure those babies are healthy afterwards will make it so she will always be remembered even after she passes away too.
15
Question #14: How might other people feel about your hero doing what he/she does ? I feel women would be more thankful for Robin doing what she is then men because Robin delivers babies from them and cares for the mother and the newborn as well. Men don’t really benefit from this though so I don’t think it would have that much of an influence on them.
