Introducing the Six “Shifts” Originally developed for Engage NY Outlines the six shifts in both ELA and Math “that are required of us if we are to be truly aligned to the CCSS in terms of materials and classroom instruction” www.ode.state.or.us/search/page/?id=3424

Brainstorm What Resources are Needed for each step of the Toolkit?

Count off in fours Ones (threes) form a circle facing out Twos (fours) form an outer circle pairing with a one (three) Each pair discuss the topic for 3 minutes Form a new pair (outer circle moves to the right) and discuss the topic Speed Sharing
