Prompt #1: Mi Receta Favorita Describe how to prepare your favorite recipe. Be sure to include the following: Ingredients needed (use at least 5 vocabulary words) 2 utensils or other item needed (i.e. plate, bowl, etc.) Use Ud. commands when giving the steps of the recipe Incorporate at least 2 direct object pronouns Conclude with 1 expression from your vocabulary list

Prompt #2: Comidas Desde Ayer Describe what you ate yesterday. Be sure to include the following: What the meals included (use at least 7 vocabulary words) Vocabulary words for to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner 3 utensils or other items you used (i.e. plate, bowl, etc.) How you were able to eat (i.e. I prepared, I bought, I went to…) Use the preterite tense throughout your speaking Incorporate at least 2 possessive adjectives Conclude by describing how your meals were (expressions)

Prompt #3: En El Restaurante With your partner, role play as if you are in a restaurant. One person will be the waiter and one person will be the client. Be sure to include the following: Waiter: greet the client, ask for the drink order, tell the special of the day or of the house, ask if the client wants an appetizer, ask for the client’s food order, ask the client if they would like dessert and discuss the check and what forms of payment are accepted Client: ask for a menu, order a drink, appetizer and main dish when prompted by the waiter, ask for a utensil you are missing, decline a dessert, comment on the food and/or service, ask for the check, discuss the tip and tell what you will use for payment

Prompt #4: En Un Mercado With your partner, role play as if you are in a market. One person will be the customer and one person will be the market employee. Be sure to include the following: Customer: greet the market employee and ask for help, tell the employee the items you wish to buy, ask to taste/try an item on your list, describe the item that you tasted (i.e. sour, sweet, cold, etc.), ask for an amount of one item, ask how much one item costs, describe it as cheap or expensive, thank the employee and tell how you will pay for your items Employee: tell the customer it is a pleasure to help them, tell the customer what the market sells after receiving their list, describe one of the special items at the market, ask if the customer would like to buy this item, ask how much of an item the customer wants, tell the customer the cost of an item, suggest a specialty store for more items (i.e. a bakery, butcher, etc.) and tell the customer how he/she may pay
