Improvement of the Integrated Coastal Zone Management in the Black Sea Region ICZM

ROLE OF WORKING GROUPS WG The Group of Activity is aiming to provide a working platform for active involvement of different stakeholders from several BS regions in generating a joint study on ICZM status and common indicators and methodologies meant to support an integrated approach on coastal zone management in project regions.

The WG is formed by partners members that will work together, to validate the study results and contribute with national specific information, if required. Sessions of the WG’s will take in 3 different states and there is one technical manager responsible with logistic coordination of these meetings. A joint WG will also analyse the status on observing the EU requirements on ICZM, meeting for conclusions in Sinop, Turkey Role of WG

ROLE OF WG The WG work will be complementary and supportive, the applicant being in charge with consolidating their reports and the study or submitting it to stakeholders’ consultation

ROLE OF WG The workshop based on participation of all partners and associates will take place in Constanta, Romania, as well as the expert working group in charge with delivering the common technical toolkit (indicators and methodologies).
