2 Home Page Eating healthy is a very important to living a healthy life style. All of us have busy schedules, which means meals are often quick and very unhealthy. To avoid an unhealthy diet students should learn what healthy eating is! Students will also learn how to plan a healthy snack or meal rather than grabbing a candy bar to fill that growling stomach! Task During the next week while we learn about eating healthy in class! In order to help keep track of our eating, your homework each night will be to blog what you ate for that day and we will discuss it in class each morning. Your opinion matters! You and a group of four students will use a web 2.0 tool called Amimoto to create a music video for Cartwells! In your music video you will need to convince Cartwells to serve healthier lunches!

4 Procedure Step 1: We need to learn what it means to eat healthy! Visit dietary guidelines to get a better understanding! Step 2: Next we need to learn about the new plate instead of the food pyramid! Step 3: What is a calorie?! Learn about calories! Step 4: Before starting your music video, groups will need to make a grocery list planning for a week of healthy lunches for your group! Step 5: The next step is to think of different meals that Cartwells could serve to students. Visit here to see some options! Step 6: Start your music video using Amimoto!

5 Evaluation

6 Conclusion Great job! You now know how to eat healthy! Eating healthy is very important because it gives you energy to do things like play outside! It is also very important to eat a healthy lunch so you have energy to focus in class! If all the students know what you just learned we can convince Chartwells to serve us healthier and delicious lunches!
