2. Day 1  Watch Revolutionary War Video  Begin Research at KidsPast.com  Chapter 19 The American Revolution to The Boston Tea Party  Watch The Boston Tea Party Video  Discover how life was like for a colonist

3. Day 2  The Shot Heard Around the World  Continue research at KidsPast.com  Take a virtual tour of Paul Revere’s Ride  The Declaration of Independence  What does it mean? Watch a video clip  Find out the roles of women in the war  Start to think about historical fiction story. Will you take the perspective of a colonist, a minuteman (or woman), or another active role during this important time in history.

4. Day 3  You will take all of your research and turn it into a creative historical fiction story.  We will be using Inspiration to help us organize our stories.  There is no set amount of slides. You do need to have a beginning, a middle, and an end.  We will be exploring Frames which is the software program we will be using to present our stories.

5. Days 4 and 5  We will continue to explore Frames and begin to add slides and text for our project  We will add graphics and images.  We will add sounds.  We will add transitions.  We will add our voices.
