Advice Letter Criteria The second and all subsequent detections by any scheme anywhere in Kent in the previous 12 months for speeds 25 to 30-mph in a 20-limit 35 to 44-mph in a 30-limit 46 to 59-mph in a 40-limit. All ‘high-end’ (50%+) speeds 31+ in a 20-limit 45+ in a 30-limit 60+ in a 40-limit. The fourth & all subsequent letters are hand-delivered.

13.  88% of all vehicles detected speeding once were not detected again.  90% of all speeding vehicles that generated a first letter did not generate another.  0.05% (1 in 2,000) of all speeding vehicles went on to generate a fourth or fifth letter. Observations
