5.  Keen to contribute- links to ICT  Enthusiastic to comment and ask questions.  Teacher/Pupil comments kept blog flowing.  Engaged reluctant writers.  Strengthened home/school links.  Open ended blogs allowed pupils to comment based on their interests.  Work load manageable. What went well?

6.  Y5 Used Bloggy as Webby too simplistic.  Initially making blog public led to SPAM.  Set up was time consuming.  Teacher led opening posts.  Login very long winded at start.  Allowing time for administration.  Public too wide- school too closed. Getting to grips

8.  Exploited cross curricular links.  Engaging  Appealed to reluctant writers.  Everyone’s post valued.  Created a buzz around reading.  Gave writing a purpose. Impact Enthused children with their Literacy topic ‘Cosmic’

9. Children’s Comments I like the blog because I get to comment on things, it’s a fun talking website! Writing on the blog Helps us to learn things quicker! I like it because you get to share your comments about what you are reading. I love reading other peoples comments about the books they are reading!
