Background Information If our local environment cleaned up the beaches, a lot of animals will not die and we will have a healthy, clean environment. Also we could be rewarded for cleaning and helping the beaches. All the seasons you should clean up the beach no matter what weather condition, go out with a group of friends, neighbors, or people you don’t know, go out and clean up the beach.

5W’s and an H QuestionThink about your topic and the background. Who can help you?Citizens of my local environment. What do you already know about this? Animals are dying from all the trash on the beach and the smells are polluting our air that we breathe in. Where are you doing this? On the beaches in our Country and State. But for now onlyour local environment. When will you do this? Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. You should clean it up the beaches every week. Why is it a good idea? Animals will be saved from pollution and trash on the beach. Animals think of the trash as food and eat it and it gets caught in their throat and kills them. How will you do this? I will get a group of class mates, friends, and neighbors to help me clean up the beaches and our environment.

Hypothesis Write a hypothesis about how you think this change will help your environment and your ecological issue. QuestionConditional StatementIf, Then Statement How will cleaning up the beaches help your local environment? Save animals, plants and trees. Iif we clean up our local beaches, it will save animals, plants, and trees because the smell kills the trees and plants, and the animals eat the trash on the beach because the animals think it’s their food and when they eat it, it gets caught in their throat and they choke and die. Sample: Most commonly, hypotheses take three formats: 1.a question, "Does temperature affect fermentation?" 2.a conditional statement, "Temperature may affect fermentation." 3.an If, then statement, "If fermentation rate is related to temperature, then increasing the temperature will increase gas production.
7
Experiment Design an experiment to test your hypothesis On a weekend, clean up your local environment and the population of animals will increase, less plants and trees will die.
