Starter Strip Starter Strip comes in lengths of 10’ Starter strip is installed around the exterior perimeter of the building The starter strip is nailed every 12” to 16” apart with roofing nails Perimeter is the linear measure of the boundaries of a figure of structure The perimeter of a square is the total length of its four sides P = 4s To find perimeter of a rectangle use the formula P= 2(w +l)
