Volcanoes typically happen in Volcano hotspots. Most Volcanoes happen right in the middle of the plates. When plate tectonics rub together they form magma and can start an eruption.

Volcanoes erupt whenever they need to release stress, they can also erupt more than just once. The a volcano can sleep. It just depends.

The structure that would be most likely be involved with a volcano would be a mountain or a hotspot. The hotspots can be found in chains just like the Hawaiian volcano.

Whenever a volcano needs to release stress it tends to erupt. The volcano will spit out hot lava and magma and after a little while all the lava will turn into ash. The lava can be as hot as 1300- 2200 degrees Fahrenheit.

A volcano is a very dangerous natural disaster. It can cause many deaths to humans, both small and large animals, and plants. It can burn houses and land property, and also they can cover them in ash. A volcano is a very destructive Natural Disasters

You can measure a volcano on a scale between 0-8. Volcanoes rated a zero is not a volcano. A volcano rated between one and two are just little explosives. The rating three can get severe. Four could get dangerous and the rating five would get very destructive like Mount Saint Helens was rated a five and destroyed 230 miles of land. Rating six and sevens can get very severe and can leave the whole town covered in ash, and eight is a very intense volcanic eruptions that can cause very many deaths and damages.

 lava: molten rock that erupts from a fissure or a vent (see magma).  hot spot: an area beneath Earth's crust where magma currents rise.  crater: the bowl-shaped area around the opening at the top of a volcano.  ash: very small, fine fragments of lava or rock that are blasted into the air during volcanic explosions.  basalt: a type of rock that forms from hardened lava.

The after effect on a volcano can be pretty serious. There would be ash everywhere, burned down trees, plants and the town would be destroyed. The population of people and animals would go down.

The volcano in Pompeii caused 2,000 deaths. Mount Saint Helens on May 18, 1980 destroyed 230 square miles of land. Volcanoes can erupt out of a crater. Volcanoes can be rated out 0 to 8. Volcanoes normally form in a mountain. There are 1,510 active volcanoes in the world and 80 or more in the ocean. What causes volcanoes to erupt is when the plate tectonics rub together and creates magma.
