P REVENTION One way to prevent plagiarism is that have all of the student sign a wager of academic integrity. This will hold the student accountable for their actions. Another way is to have no tolerance and if a student is caught plagiarizing then they could be expelled from the school. An Honor code is another prevention technique that has worked for some schools. Teachers can also make academic integrity as one of the core values of the class room. McCabe, Don; Katz, Daniel. D ETECTING P LAGIARISM One way to detect plagiarism would be to compare it to quality and standard of work that the student is achieving.
