3. Mat 6:25-30 (1) Therefore I say to you, Do not be anxious for your life, what you shall eat, or what you shall drink; nor for your body, what you shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? (26) Behold the birds of the air; for they sow not, nor do they reap, nor gather into barns. Yet your heavenly Father feeds them; are you not much better than they are?

4. Mat 6:25-30 (2) Which of you by being anxious can add one cubit to his stature? (28) And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They do not toil, nor do they spin, (29) but I say to you that even Solomon in his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

5. Mat 6:31-34 (1) Therefore do not be anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, With what shall we be clothed? (32) For the nations seek after all these things. For your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things.

6. Mat 6:31-34 (2) (33) But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you. (34) Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow; for tomorrow shall be anxious for its own things. Sufficient to the day is the evil of it.

7. Being anxious is Having overwhelming concern Sense of insecurity Not in God’s will if it is for the wrong situation and reason

8. The Nations The nation or the world ◦ Doesn’t know God ◦ Not of God’s kingdom ◦ Has value of the world ◦ Seeks mostly material and bodily needs

9. God knows our needs He shall provide It does Not mean: ◦ to do nothing (be lazy) ◦ not prepared and look ahead ◦ We will have nothing to worry about Just not being dominated by worries

11. Seek First the Kingdom of God To seek means: ◦ In priority and necessity ◦ Having an interest in God’s purpose Be in God’s purpose – Evangelism To live a spiritually transformed life ◦ Passion for God’s words ◦ living a Spirit-transformed life ◦ Serve the Lord with passion

12. Live with the challenges Exercising in Faith is: ◦ Trust in the Lord for tomorrow ◦ Rely on the Lord every day

13. Conclusion Have no worries for the things we need, God will provide. Seek for God’s kingdom in value and deeds Have faith in the Lord, trust and rely on Him
