Formula for High Quality Professional Development Documentation of learning is trainer’s assessment of participant’s mastery. Live Workshop Book Study Online Learning Collegial Dialogues Learning Community Documentation of implementation verifies that learning transferred to the participant’s job. Written Reflections Assignments Summary notes Projects Products Student Products Professional developer provides support and assistance as needed. Documentation of impact on job performance is an analysis of participant’s implementation. AND Documentation of impact to student achievement is an analysis of student data. Review of intended results Recommendations for continuous improvement Follow-up evidence should be kept by the participants, after it has been assessed and documented by the professional developer. Documentation is submitted to Staff Development for entry of learning value (inservice points). Sign-in Sheets Component Evaluation Sign-in Sheets and Component Evaluations are kept on file at the school site or department for 5 years in case of audit.
