ToR DRAFT aim: To provide a support structure for end-user to help solve performance issues when using applications over a computer network

Hierarchy Comparable with CERT Logical infrastructure Levels in hierarchical tree: International (DANTE, Internet2, IO, manufacturers, user communities) National (NREN’s) Institute USERS

Structure A human network Start with e-mail distribution list: prt@terena.nl Get people (users) who have experience with: application OS equipment network

Primarily work activity Allocation of problem to right level Track problem First voluntary, to get a better idea of issues

Area to concentrate Use small problem area: GRID’s IP Premium problems (international ftp problems) Procedural- and Cook book Formalize PRT-organization in more detail It is iterative system (like CERT is) Find methods how to incorporate users
