3. What is a Risk? A risk is like taking a chance. When you do something and are not sure what will happen. You don’t know if something good or bad will happen. A risk can be dangerous. Taking a risk can make you nervous. Taking a risk can sometimes be exciting or scary.

4. What is a Consequence? A consequence is what happens as a result of an action. Example: Mom mopped the floor and I slipped.

5. Risks Learning something new can be taking a risk. Trying something new and dangerous can be taking a risk.

6. Consequences Asking for a kiss is a risk, but what will happen next is the consequence. Going snowboarding is taking a risk, falling down and hurting yourself is the consequence.
