Because of anger, the person is very difficult to be around due to misplaced feelings of rage and envy. Any individual not working on National Board is subject to projected resentment and jealousy. During the fourth stage, the person begins to understand the enormity of the process. Because of this, the individual may become silent, refuse visitors and spend much of the time crying. This final stage comes with initial anxiety that the due date is approaching. Generally, the person in the final months needs to be left alone. Constant reading, re-reading along with counting and almost obsessive page numbering are a common trait during acceptance.
