4. Curriculum Our main topics for the year will be: - All About Me/Space/Florence Nightingale - Toys - Fairy Tales or Seasons – Child Choice - We Are What We Eat - Individual Child Led Topics - Hooray Let’s Go on Holiday

5. Trips  Half termly trips/visitor  Approx £60 per year for class trips/ visitors.  Local community  Seaside end of year trip

6. Logistics  Drop off and pick up - 8.30-8.45am. Register taken at 8.45am. This week parents welcomed in for transition/settling. From next Monday (14 th ) parents to say ‘goodbyes’ in the playground.  Assemblies 20 th Nov – Vikki Class Assembly 27 th Nov – Katie Class Assembly  Lunchtime – new catering company, emailed menu for you to discuss daily with your child  Uniform – please check the website and ensure your child is dressed accordingly  Attendance  After school clubs – to start w/c 21 st September

Timetable  Maths/English daily  Forest School – Monday p.m (start date to be confirmed)  Multisports – Wed p.m  Guided Reading/Read Write Inc. sessions  Tell and Show – Thursday  Afternoons – mixture of Child Led Learning, Computing, Creative, RE, PSHE, Humanities, Physical Activities and Topic.  Family Groups – Tuesday  After school club – Year 1 small room  Breakfast club – library  Sibling club – EYFS  Home learning – given out Friday and handed in Wednesday

9. Behaviour  Our Golden Rule is Taking Care  Behaviour Steps - Thinking Space in every location to help children reflect with adult support  Reward systems – praise, celebration and family group tokens

Safeguarding Keeping our children safe  Mobile phones, no phones around the school.  Photos only to be taken of your own child in school on a digital camera (not phone) – please do not share on social media sites.  ESafety permission form, please make sure these are signed or your child will be unable to use technology in school.  Correct drop off and pick up arrangements - parking - passwords – anyone picking up your child must know this  Esafety at home – workshop this half term
