Project objectives The aim of the project is to contribute to make the business of small and medium winegrowers sustainable in the long run by enhancing their capacity to increase sales and diversify income through cooperation in the field of wine tourism. The project will lead to the creation of a cross-border tourist product called “Visegrad Wine Route” by creating the first elements (logo, website, brochure, etc.) needed to launch it as the basis for further development of cooperation.
4
Expected outputs -a partnership agreement; -a joint logo, slogan and layout promoting the Visegrad Wine Route as a common cross-border tourist product; -a website in English hosting a directory of small and medium winegrowers involved in the project and a facebook page; -a promotional brochure in English containing information about the regions concerned and about the small and medium winegrowers involved in the project; - a 6-day study tour along the Visegrad Wine Route for 13 persons – 3 persons from each partner country (including 1 interpreter/tutor from the local partner and 2 representatives of tour operators from each country) + the project coordinator. The tour operators invited will be specialised in wine tourism or regional tourism.
5
Expected outcomes - an increase in the revenues of the winegrowers involved in the project, - the enhancement of cooperation among them. In order to assess progresses in this 2 domains winegrowers will undergo ex-ante evaluation at the beginning of the project, mid-term evaluation at the end of the project and ex-post evaluation 6 months after the end of the project. The evaluation will be carried out using an anonymous questionnaire. The project will be deemed successful if the results of the evaluation show a positive trend in the above mentioned domains which can be partly attributed to the project results.
