Neil's Professions/Jobs!! In 1913-1914 Bohr held a Lectureship in Physics at Copenhagen University In 1914-1916 a similar appointment at the Victoria University in Manchester. In 1916 he was appointed Professor of Theoretical Physics at Copenhagen University And since 1920 (until his death in 1962) he was at the head of the Institute for Theoretical Physics, established for him at that university.

Collaborated Scientists and Models/Math Bohr did work with Ernest Rutherford or help him perfect his planetary model of the atom. He did collaborate with many other to develop ideas about countless things but this was his main discovery on the Bohr Model which was released later.

Bohr Model In 1913 Bohr proposed his quantized shell model of the atom to explain how electrons can have stable orbits around the nucleus.

Publicity Niles Bohr was actually extremely liked by the public and believed by them. The main award that he won for his Bohr Model was a Noble Prize for physics in 1922. He was also awarded many other things later on. AWARDS: Hughes Medal Noble Prize Sonning Prize Copley Medal Max Planck Medal Atoms or Piece awards And many many more!!
