1. My name is Katie Day. I am the Resource/Inclusion teacher for Annie Purl Kinder – 2 nd. My husband and I have 3 grown children- who all graduated from GHS. We moved to Georgetown in 1997 after living in Washington for 18 years. We can often be found at our place in Fredericksburg, where we have a Bed and Breakfast, 17 sheep and a 34 year old donkey named John Henry. I have taught in Idaho and Texas for a total of 20 years. I look forward to inspiring and empowering your child to grow as a learner as well as build new respectful relationships at Annie Purl in 2015-2016! I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a major in Special Education and a minor in Early Childhood Education. I was born in Houston and moved to OH, LA, MS, NC, PA then back to Houston my senior year of high school. I was lucky enough to spend my elementary years at the same school.
