2 Steward A STEWARD IS SOMEONE WHO MANAGES ANOTHER'S PROPERTY, FINANCES OR AFFAIRS. THE STEWARD IS NOT THE OWNER. HE/SHE DOES NOT POSSESS WHAT IS ENTRUSTED TO HIM/HER TO MANAGE.

3 The Parable of the Talents
Matthew 25: ( to be read) 3 servants, each have been entrusted TALENTS ( 5-2-1) by their master according to their abilities Two of them traded with it and made profit out of it and their master was very happy with them and actually rewarded them. The other one buried it to the dismay of his master. He didn’t manage well the property of his master. He was punished for that.

4 Stewards of: Time here is short. Ps 39 :4-6; Ps 90:10.
Live wisely! Ps 90:12. It is only one chance. Don’t waste it. Luke 16: What are you doing with your time? Glorifying God or indulging self egos?

5 Stewards of: TALENT Natural gifts (Abilities, strengths)
Spiritual gifts. 1 Cor 12:1-11. Motivational gifts. Rom 12: 6-8. What are you doing with your talent, today?

6 Stewards of: Prayer and fasting. 1 Tim 2:1-4.
Mission Prayer and fasting. 1 Tim 2:1-4. The Great Commission ( evangelizing & discipling). Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15. Where do you see yourself in terms of accomplishing the mission?

7 Stewards of: Finances Everything we have (possessions, treasures, equities, etc) is not actually ours. Col 1:15-18. Love of money is the root of All evils. 1 Tim 6:10. We can not be ruled by two Masters. Matthew 6: 24. Money leads, Heart follows! Therefore, watch out where you put you money. Matthew 6: 19 – 21. You can not take with you, but you can only send it ahead of you to heaven and store up there! Matthew 6: 19 – 21.

8 Stewards of: Finances Give cheerfully. Mark 12: ; Luke 6:38; 2 Cor 8: 1-5. Give sacrificially. 2 Cor.8:1-5. First fruits of your income. Proverbs 3:9. Tithes, 10% your every income. Malachi 3:10; Leviticus 27:30. Provide for your household first. 1 Tim 5:8. Fellow believers with needs. Gal 6:10. To the poor. Proverbs 19:17; Gal 2:10. To the mission works Phil 4:14-16. As God lay on your heart. 2 Cor 9:7. According to what you have. 2 Cor 8: 1-5.

9 Conclusion Stewardship is about faithfulness. Matthew 25: 20-23.
Stewardship is about obedience. Matthew 25: Stewardship is about living with wisdom. Eph 5:15-17. Stewardship is about living with eternal perspective. Col 3:1-4. 2 Cor 5: 10, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.”
