Acid Rain: What is it and what does it do?

Acid Rain When pollution from cars and factories enters the air it reacts with water to lower the pH of water (pH measures acidity). Rain water has a pH of 5.2 Acid rain has a pH of 4

So, what can we do? Encourage our families to drive less, buy less (both will reduce the amount of acid rain causing chemicals in the atmosphere) Talk to people about acid rain. Spread your knowledge! Write to your politicians and urge stricter pollution standards.
