Classroom Positive Discipline We want our children to have both a mutual respect as well as a mutual responsibility for themselves and others. As their teacher, I will create a climate for mutual respect by modeling how to listen to one another, take each other seriously, and problem solve together. We will focus on nonpunitive solutions that are related, respectful, reasonable, and understood by the student.

Absence Policy Call the school office by 9:00 a.m. and request your child’s work. At this time, tell the office personnel if you wish to pick up the work yourself or have it sent with another student. I will gather your child’s work during my planning period. If you are going to pick up your child’s work, you may do so in the office after 2:30 p.m. This will provide adequate time to insure that s/he is receiving all the necessary work.
