Use QPS racetrack coil #1 for 3 rd attachment surface. Epoxy = CTD 403 QPS Racetrack Coil #1 Cut out a long section of QPS coil #1 (4 turn coil encapsulated in CTD 403), which is no longer needed. The specimen can then be placed in the bend fixture. 1 ft

Glue Methods and Surfaces Glues / adhesives UV light glue: Arrived Stycast 2850 FT black. Arrived Vishay M series AE-10 room cure cryo epoxy - Arrived CTD 540 – Order pending trials of other epoxies ($600 min order) Weld-able gages (purchased three, awaiting receipt) Surfaces A.316 stainless steel strips (1/16” thick), smooth and rough RMS values. B.G-10 strips (1/32” thick) C.QPS coil #1 (approx 1” X 1” X12” long). CTD 403 is the outer surface. If NCSX has something similar to this coil, please send.

Scenario Once Dip testing is complete and we are confident the gages will operate and stick at LN2…and glue method is chosen, a fatigue test will be conducted on the winning adhesive/gage combination at LN2.
