3. Collapsing Cloud Fragment  A collapsing cloud fragment is a fragment that was developing into a typical interstellar cloud. It is destined from a star like our sun.

4. Fragmentation Ceases  When fragmentation ceases, a stage 2 fragment has shrunk by the start of stage 3 to roughly the size of our solar system. It is still roughly 10,000 times the size of our sun.
