2
Interstellar Cloud An interstellar cloud is any accumulation of gas, plasma, or dust in the galaxies. It is a more dense region of the interstellar medium.
3
Collapsing Cloud Fragment A collapsing cloud fragment is a fragment that was developing into a typical interstellar cloud. It is destined from a star like our sun.
4
Fragmentation Ceases When fragmentation ceases, a stage 2 fragment has shrunk by the start of stage 3 to roughly the size of our solar system. It is still roughly 10,000 times the size of our sun.
5
Protostar A star in the early staged of evolution after the beginning of the collapse of the gas cloud from which the star was formed.
