2. Adding/Subtracting Exponents
When you have two numbers that have the same exponents, then you add/subtract as usual and add the exponent at the end.
If the exponents are not the same, then you need to convert before adding or subtracting.

5. Multiplying Exponents
When multiplying terms you add the respective exponents to get the final exponent
When you are raising an exponent to another exponent, then you multiply the two terms in order to simplify

6. Dividing Exponents
When you are dividing like terms that have exponents, you get the final exponent by subtracting the top exponent from the bottom one.

7. Remember PEMDAS
Don’t forget about the order of operations when you do these problems!
