2 HISTORY OF THE ORDER n Founded by Margaret Aylward born in Waterford in 1810 n The first convent was in Glasnevin in Dublin n St Brigid is their patroness.The feast day is on the 11 of October n She died in 1899

3 The Roles of the Holy Faith Sisters n They help in educating, counselling, pastoral work and retreat work n they go to third world countries and help educate the people n they run local libraries and a bank there also

4 The Countries visited n They go to many different countries such as: Peru and Trinidad n they help educate the woman on how to take care of their children
