They will need to have a Department of Defense CAC to self-register. After self-registration, it can take up to a week to be approved and receive ePortal access. 2. 1/17/2016 Integrity - Service - Innovation 2 ePortal Account Access for External Users New users will be automatically directed to the Welcome Page to complete the ePortal account request form. From here, select the “Register for ePortal Account” link.

3. 1/17/2016 Integrity - Service - Innovation 3 ePortal Account Access for External Users The Self-Registration for External Users form will appear different for each user. Choose the radio button next to your reason for requesting ePortal access. The list located by arrow #2 will change to provide the associated choices available based on the radio button selected. Select access to a specific ePortal community From the drop down menu, select your branch of service Click Submit #1 #2

4. 1/17/2016 Integrity - Service - Innovation 4 Information in this section is pulled from the user’s CAC and can not be edited, but verify that it is correct. If it is not correct, send a digitally signed eMail with a screenshot to ePortal@DFAS.mil.ePortal@DFAS.mil This section is populated by the requestor and can be modified by clicking on the Edit button. ePortal Account Access for External Users If the information is correct, click on submit. Prior to submitting, please review the request.

5. 1/17/2016 Integrity - Service - Innovation 5 ePortal Account Access for External Users After submitting the request, they will see a Confirmation Page. This page will show all of the information submitted with the request along with a note explaining the next steps. Be sure to make a copy of this screen for your records. Click CTRL+A and then CTRL+C to select and copy. Click CTRL+V to paste it into a new Word document.
