New Partnership Orange Label partnership (It is all Geek Squad branded) Red Ventures will be selling 6x different Geek Squad branded subscriptions. We will have a new DirecTV service to support three of these new subscriptions

New DirecTV Specific service A new “DirecTV setup and maintenance” service has been created It includes the scope of work outlined below – The training material on SharePoint outlines exactly how to perform this work. You also can find FAQ’s on DirecTV.com Much of this will be walking clients through how to do a task, not necessarily performing a repair or utilizing LMI Setup media sharing & provide training Bring photo’s, music, and videos stored on your computer to your Big Screen TV. Setup DirecTV2PC & provide training Watch recorded shows from any PC in your home. Setup DirecTV Application on customer’s mobile device & provide training Search, browse, and record your shows from your mobile device. Basic DVR training Guided support for finding your favorite show or series and setting them to record.

Upgrading accounts If a client requests a service but it is not covered under their subscription, they can upgrade to a “better” version of the plan You will need to have the client purchase a new subscription via the buy-it-now links below for the correct service. Comments and Q/A Clients will return through both site and P2S Clients will purchase this directly through Red Ventures, we will not be selling this subscription, only fulfilling on it Clients are told there is a 12 month term but if a client returns asking to cancel, you can fill out a feedback form on their behalf to cancel the subscription at anytime We will collect MAC addresses like normal for computers covered (we don’t need it for DTV devices) We will support however many DTV devices the client has in their house. We also will setup however many Harmony devices they need for their setup. Setting expectations is key – Make sure to keep clients informed about what you will be doing before the service, and if they only have the DTV/Networking bundle that it will not include PC repair services 15% discount for on-site services. More QA DirecTV network bundle – What network help does it include since it says it doesn’t cover PCs? The DirecTV Network bundle only includes assistance related to the clients DirecTV equipment and applications Examples of some things that would be covered includes: help add an Ipad to their network so that they can utilize their DirecTV app, help get the media sharing setup so they can utilize all of their DirecTV services. I don’t know anything about DirecTV, What do I do? - Review the training material located on SharePoint, you also will want to get the model number of the DTV equipment the client is using and you can visit www.directv.com for a lot of training material and walk-throughs. Everything included in these services is very easy stuff (I promise) so it shouldn’t be to difficult for you to walk clients through it.www.directv.com
