3  Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)  The virus attacks the body’s defence system  Can turn into AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Virus)  AIDS is a life limiting illness  There is no cure so prevention is key HIV isn’t prejudice; it doesn’t care who it infects
