2. Imperialism On Wednesday, we looked at some EXAMPLES of this concept: “imperialism.” Remember your green and white handouts?

3. What is “imperialism?” Critical Attributes for “imperialism”: The “imperializing” country… 1.has ambition/intent to use power (political, economic) over another country 2.is willing to use force 3.benefits more than the other country 4.has feelings of superiority

4. YOU decide… Handout 4 has four scenarios. You will be assigned ONE OF THESE to begin with. For your scenario, underline any CRITICAL ATTRIBUTES (Handout 2, the four requirements) you see. Then ask yourself…  Does the scenario show ALL FOUR CRITICAL ATTRIBUTES? If YES – it is an example of imperialism. If NO – it is a non-example.
