2. وبالوالدی ن احساناً Etiquettes about Parents o Parents are Allah's (SWT) mercy on human being; o There is no substitute for parents; o Honor and serve parents with dignity, even if they are non-Muslims.

3. وبالوالدی ن احساناً Etiquettes about Parents Our Holy Prophet (saww) said, “......I advise you to obey your parents and serve them whether they are alive or dead. Obey them even if they ask you to divorce your wife or to surrender your wealth since their obedience in worldly affairs is a part of belief (Imaan)".

4. وبالوالدی ن احساناً Parents’ affection and Jihad o To live with parents and serve them causes affection with them. o It increases more specifically in old age. o Their one-day's affection is better than one year's worship.

5. وبالوالدی ن احساناً Parents’ affection and Jihad Once a companion asked our Holy Prophet (saww) for his permission to go on Jihad, The Prophet (saww) said, "If you lay your life in Allah's (SWT) way you will have an eternal life and provision in Paradise, if you die during that even then you will be rewarded by Allah (SWT) and if you are back alive you will be sin-free like a newborn". The companion said that his parents were old and they could hardly bear his absence. Allah’s Prophet (saww) replied, "Then you remain with them. By Allah (SWT), and His rights on me, your one-day's affection is better than your Jihad for one year".

6. Children who serve their parents will be rewarded with Prophet’s companionship in Jannah

7. وبالوالدی ن احساناً A Companion in Paradise Prophet Musa’s (as) parable Once Prophet Musa (as) asked Allah (SWT) to make him meet a person who would be his companion in Paradise. Allah (SWT)first described some qualities of that person and asked Nabi Musa (as) to visit someone at a certain place. When the Ulool Uzm Prophet reached there he met a person who happened to be a butcher. He started observing as to what act of him would make him Musa's companion in Paradise. When the butcher closed his shop Prophet Musa (as) introduced himself and accompanied him and sought his permission to spend one night at his house. The butcher happily agreed and arranged his stay. Musa observed a vigil to see his acts. He observed that the butcher cooked and fed his mother with his own hands. Next morning he washed his mother’s mouth and hands, combed her hair and again fed her. As the mother consumed each bite, she prayed, "0 Allah! Make my son Musa's companion in Paradise. Musa ran to give him the tiding that 'due to the service he was Musa's companion in the world as well as in Paradise.

39. والدین كے وفات كے بعد كے حقوق ١۔ غسل، كفن اور دفن میں جلدی كرے۔ 1. Haste in the performance of burial and funeral. ٢۔ كفن اور دفن كے زیاده خرچ كو بوجھ نہ سمجھے۔ 2. Do not consider funeral expenses as a burden. ٣۔ انكے مراسم تدفین كو شریعت كے حكم كے مطابق انجام دے۔ 3. Perform his/her funeral rituals in accordance with the Islamic Laws. ٤۔ انكی وصیت كے مطابق عمل كرے، اسكے خلاف كوئ كام انجام نہ دے۔ 4. Act according to his/her will, do not behave against it. ٥۔ شبِ تدفین نماز وحشت پڑھے اور انكے لیے دعا كرے۔ 5. Offer Salat-e-Wahshat on the night of his/her burial and pray for them.

40. Parents Rights After death ٦۔ تدفین كے خرچ كو ادا كرے اور اس میں مدد كرنے والوں كا شكریہ ادا كرے۔ 6. Pay the expenses of the funeral and be grateful to those who contributed. ٧۔ دفن و كفن میں كسی اور نے مالی تعاون كیا ھو تو فوراَ ادا كرے اور مقروض نہ رھے۔ 7. Those who contributed in the funeral expenses should be paid back as soon as possible and do not stay in debt. ٨۔ اگر ٣١ كی وصیت كی ھو تو مال سے فوراَ ادا كرے باقی مال كو ورثہ كو خود دے۔ 8. If 1/3 of the will is already allocated then pay the funds instantly and rest should be given to next to kins. ٩۔ انكے لیے ھر روز قرآن پڑھے۔ 9. Recite Quran every day for them. ١٠۔ ہر نماز كے بعد انكے لیے دعا كرے بلخصوص نماز شب اور خاص وقت دعا میں انہیں فراموش نہ كرے۔ 10. Pray for them in every Salat especially in the Salat-e-Shub (nightly prayer) and do not forget them in your special prayers.

41. والدین كے وفات كے بعد كے حقوق ١١۔ ہر روز انكی طرف سے صدقہ دے۔ 11. Every day give charity on their behalf. ١٢۔ ہر روز نماز ھدیہ والدین ادا كرے۔ 12. Perform daily Salat-e-Hadya for parents. ١٣۔ رحلت والدین كے غم میں صبر كرے۔ 13. Have patience in the grief of departure of parents. ١٤۔ انكی قضاء نمازوں كو خود پڑھے یا كسی كو اجرت دے كر پڑھوائے۔ 14. Offer their Qadha (missed) prayers or have someone to offer these for a payment. ١٥۔ انكے قضاء روزوں كو خود ركھے یا اجرت دے كر ركھوائے۔ 15. Offer their Qadha (missed) fasts or have someone to offer these for a payment

42. Parents Rights After death ١٦۔ انكی قبر كی زیارت كےلیے جائے كیونكہ یہ عمل حج كا ثواب ركھتا ہے۔ 16. Visit their grave because this action is equivalent to the reward of Hajj ١٧۔ قبرستان میں جاكر ایة الكرسی، قرآن، سورة فاتحہ اور صلواة كی تلاوت كرے اور اس كا ثواب انكی روح كو ھدیہ كرے۔ 17. Recite Ayat-ul-Kursi, Quran and Surah Fateha, and Salwat when visiting graveyard and gift the reward of this recitation to their souls. ١٨۔ جب زیارت مقام مقدسہ كا شرف حاصل ہو تو انكی نیابت میں زیارت پڑھے۔ 18. When visiting holy places then recite the zyarat on their behalf. ١٩۔ انكی نیابت میں عمره كرے۔ اگر حج واجب كے لیے گیا ہے تو وقت فراغت میں انكی طرف سے طواف كرے۔ 19. Perform Umrah on their behalf. If performing obligatory Hajj then in spare time perform tawaf on their behalf. ٢٠۔ اگر اپنا حج انجام دے چكا ہے تو انكی طرف سے حج كے لیے جائے۔ 20. If one has performed their own obligatory Hajj then perform Hajj on their behalf. ١٦۔ انكی قبر كی زیارت كےلیے جائے كیونكہ یہ عمل حج كا ثواب ركھتا ہے۔ 16. Visit their grave because this action is equivalent to the reward of Hajj ١٧۔ قبرستان میں جاكر ایة الكرسی، قرآن، سورة فاتحہ اور صلواة كی تلاوت كرے اور اس كا ثواب انكی روح كو ھدیہ كرے۔ 17. 43. والدین كے وفات كے بعد كے حقوق ٢١۔ اگر انہوں نے كسی كو ناراض كیا ہو یا كسی كی حق تلفی كی ہو تو زبان سے یا كسی بھی صورت میں انكو راضی كرے۔ 21. If they have upset someone or did not fulfill the rights then persuade them either verbally or by any means possible. ٢٢۔ بعنوان رد مظالم مال فقیر كو دے تاكے كسی كی حق تلفی كی ہو تو انكی گردن پر نہ رہے۔ 22. In the an attempt to remove their cruel deeds give charity to needy. ٢٣۔ حتی الامكان ہفتہ یا مہینے میں مجلس سید شہدا كا احتمام كرے انكی طرف سے۔ 23. Do all efforts on their behalf perform Majlis-e-Syed Shuhdah weekly or monthly. ٢٤۔ اگر كسی سنت حسنہ كو جیسے سالانہ مجلس میں تبرك، قربانی، یا دعوت كرتے تو اسے جاری ركھے۔ 24. Continue their good tradition such as arranging tabaruk in yearly Majlis, sacrifice, or dinner. ٢٥۔ اگر كسی كارخیر كو نا تمام چھوڑ گئے ہوں تو اسكو پورا كرے۔ 25. Complete their left behind unfinished good deed. ٢١۔ اگر انہوں نے كسی كو ناراض كیا ہو یا كسی كی حق تلفی كی ہو تو زبان سے یا كسی بھی صورت میں انكو راضی كرے۔ 21. If they have upset someone or did not fulfill the rights then persuade them either verbally or by any means possible. ٢٢۔ بعنوان رد مظالم مال فقیر كو دے تاكے كسی كی حق تلفی كی ہو تو انكی گردن پر نہ رہے۔ 22. In the an attempt to remove their cruel deeds give charity to needy. ٢٣۔ حتی الامكان ہفتہ یا مہینے میں مجلس سید شہدا كا احتمام كرے انكی طرف سے۔ 23. Do all efforts on their behalf perform Majlis-e-Syed Shuhdah weekly or monthly. ٢٤۔ اگر كسی سنت حسنہ كو جیسے سالانہ مجلس میں تبرك، قربانی، یا دعوت كرتے تو اسے جاری ركھے۔ 24. Continue their good tradition such as arranging tabaruk in yearly Majlis, sacrifice, or dinner. ٢٥۔ اگر كسی كارخیر كو نا تمام چھوڑ گئے ہوں تو اسكو پورا كرے۔ 25. Complete their left behind unfinished good deed.

44. Parents Rights After death ٢٦۔ اگر انہوں نے كسی كے مال كو غصب كیا تھا تو فوراً اسكے مالك كو ادا كرے ( جیسے مسجد میں دوكان ) ۔ 26. If they have usurped someone's belonging then instantly return it (such as a shop in a mosque). ٢٧۔ اگر خمس یا زكاة ادا نہ كی ہو تو فوراً ادا كرے۔ 27. If they have not paid Khums or Zakat then instantly pay. ٢٨۔ كسی كے ماں باپ كو برا نہ كہے كہ وه اس كے والدین كو برا كہیں۔ 28. Do not say bad about others parents otherwise others will say the same in return. ٢٩۔ خود ایسا كام نہ كرے كے لوگ اسكے والدین كو برا كہیں۔ 29. One should not perform such a deed that people will call ones parent bad. ٣٠۔ لوگوں كے ساتھ نیكی سے پیش آئے تاكہ والدین كے لیے دعا كریں۔ 30. 45. والدین كے وفات كے بعد كے حقوق ٣١۔ ماں باپ كے دوستوں كا احترام كرے۔ 31. Pay respect to parent's friends. ٣٢۔ اگر انكی نسبت كسی پریشانی یا مشكل كا اندیشہ ركھتا ہو تو اسكو برطرف كرنے كی كوشش كرے۔ 32. If one is afraid of any difficulty in relation to parents then try to remove it. ٣٣۔ انكی چھوڑی گئ نشانیوں كی حفاظت كرے۔ 33. Protect their left behind marks/signs/books / pen. ٣٤۔ چچا چچی اور ماموں ممانی سے ملنے كے لیے جاتا رہے، انكے ساتھ نیكی كرے اس نیت سے كہ اس كا ثواب والدین كو پہنچے۔ 34. Frequently visit uncles and aunts of both sides and do good deeds with them, with the intention that the reward will go to parents. ٣٥۔ اگر چچا چچی یا ماموں ممانی كے یا رشتےداروں كے حق میں كوتاھی كی تو انكو راضی كرنے كی كوشش كرے۔ 35. If they have missed out on the rights of paternal uncle and aunt or maternal uncle and aunt or other relatives then try to persuade them. ٣١۔ ماں باپ كے دوستوں كا احترام كرے۔ 31. Pay respect to parent's friends. ٣٢۔ اگر انكی نسبت كسی پریشانی یا مشكل كا اندیشہ ركھتا ہو تو اسكو برطرف كرنے كی كوشش كرے۔ 32. Protect their grave, name/identity from disrespect. ٣٩۔ اگر والدین مومن اور نیك تھے تو انكی ملاقات كی تمنا ركھے جیسے ائمہ اپنے والدین كی ركھتے تھے۔ 39. If parent were believer and good then have desire to meet them just like Imams had for their parents. ٤٠۔ اگر انكی قبر خراب ہوگئ ہو تو دوباره تعمیر كرائے۔ 40. If their grave is deteriorated then rebuild it. ٣٦۔ كوشش كرے كہ انكو خواب میں دیكھ كر انكے حال سے آگاه ھوسكے۔ 36.
