Cost $280.00 Due by Friday, December 11. Make checks payable to: Lietz Home and School Club Money should not be what holds your child back from going to camp, so plan ahead. We can work with you.

What does camp look like?

A Day at Camp….

Meals All the meals are in the Dining Hall. The meals are hot and served family style Food is brought to the table by Hoppers. Breakfast is at 8:00, Lunch is at 12:15, and Dinner is at 5:45

And then it is off to Field Class! Field classes last for 2-3 hours. Students will have the same Field Instructor all week. There will be 1-2 Cabin Leaders with each group. There are about 20 students in a field class.

…or a creek… …or the forest… Some days they may explore the pond… …but hopefully they won ’ t explore this!

Evening program Astronomy Campfire Night Hike Quiz Night

What can kids expect? Education in an outdoor setting (classrooms, seminars, lessons, journals, sing-alongs) Hands on learning. Great staff of dedicated teachers and counselors. Day and night hikes. Learning on the go. Meeting new friends and bonding during cabin times. Building Responsibility.

Camp Details Walden West: Sanborn Park-Saratoga January 11-15 Cost: $280 Bus paid for by Home and School Club Packet of forms/info will be coming home in December

Top 5 things to bring Sleeping bag (A couple blankets doesn’t cut it) Warm rain coat (Sweatshirts don’t repel water) Sturdy shoes or boots (They will get dirty) Sturdy luggage (It gets dragged, dropped and packed) Deodorant (I’m sure you know why…)
