2 WHAT IS A COMPLETE SENTENCE?

3 A COMPLETE SENTENCE HAS TO HAVE A SUBJECT, VERB, END MARK, AND A CAPITAL LETTER AT THE BEGINNING OF A SENTENCE.

5 COMPLETE SENTENCES/ INCOMPLETE SENTENCES Complete After school on Friday, me and my friend went to the movies. Everyone worked hard on the project that is due tomorrow. During the sale at Sears, there was a fight. "Why was everyone so late today," said the teacher with anger. 6 COMPLETE OR INCOMPLETE The Kittens purr. Who is the sentence about? The Kittens What did it do? Purr This is a complete sentence because, you know what they did, and you know who the sentence is about.

7 COMPLETE OR INCOMPLETE The waves at the beach. Who? We don't know. This is a incomplete sentence. Tips: Just because a group of words beings with a capital and ends with a period dosen't mean it’s a complete sentence.

8 On page 83 in your workbook, complete all odd number questions. After you have completed, get a red pin out.
