(1) Gender and LGTB mainstreaming in free time education for children and youths Pilot project carried out by the Barcelona City Council and the Escola Lliure El Sol Materials on gender identity, stereotypes, preventing abusive relationships and transphobia Four-hour training module to be included in general training programme given to instructors Teaching materials to be used in training courses

(2) Training for home care staff for elderly people Teaching materials to inform about the real life situation of LGTB elderly people Designed for personnel who provide home care for the elderly Promote knowledge about, and respect for, sexual and gender diversity Training module with audiovisual support

(3) Diagnostic and participative procedure of the LGTB Plan To draft the Local LGTB Plan of Barcelona Two phases: – Diagnostic survey: LGTB population, LGTB associations, General public, Barcelona City Council Departments, Good practices in other European cities. – Participative procedure: thematic work groups, Individuals, Open public Forum

Specific actions 1.Creating tools to fight against discrimination and promote an inclusive use of the public space MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE OF CIVIC MINDEDNESS, REGISTRATION OF INCIDENTS IN THE POLICE/JUDICIARY STATISTICS–CROSS WORK WITH OTHER ADMINISTRATIONS WITH COMPETENCIES IN SECURITY AND WITH THE JUSTICE ADMINISTRATION

Specific actions 2.Training police officers and the different agents of community intervention (social workers, mediators...) in the knowledge of the sexual and affective diversity EMPATHY TOWARDS THE GROUP AND KNOWLEDGE OF THEIR REALITY IN ORDER TO GUARANTEE THE EFFICACITY IN THOSE INTERVENTIONS RELATED (CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION IN THE GAY SCENE, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE...)

Specific actions 3.Establishing working protocols for the law enforcement officers who guarantee the equal treat and no discriminationDEFINITION OF OPERATIVE PROCEDURES AND WARRANTY OF QUALITY IN THE PROVISION OF A SERVICE.

Specific actions 4.Designing intervention models before the generated conflicts around activities related to the LGTB CONFLICT MANAGEMENT IN FREE SEXUAL EXCHANGE AREAS (CRUISING).

Specific actions 5.Promoting relations with the LGTB community, through the interlocutors of the Proximity PoliceFostering confidence in the police, losing fear to denounce homophobe incidents, feedback in the needs/request of security detection.
