Who is Just for the Kids? Nonprofit independent organization started in 1995 in Texas. Provided student achievement information on Texas public schools since 1997, data on Internet since 1998. Began investigating promising practices in 1999. Trained 2,100 campuses representing 400 schools districts in 30 months. Funded by foundations, corporations and individuals (complete list on JFTK website).
