DEd--under graduates who teach std. I to VII BEd– graduates who teach high school MEd– Post graduates who become the teacher educators at DEd/BEd or become heads of institutions.

They train teachers Teachers influence the students Students are the future prospects of our country Students should protect the environment as they have to live in it. Save for future generations-sustainable development through proper planning

In 2020, we can see a vibrant, Healthy and Pollution free India.

9 CONCLUSION Include environment education as a compulsory subject at DEd, BEd and MEd level. Environment education has to be learnt by all trainees.(Both Arts and science graduates) Arrange environment awareness camps to get hands on experience during training Install “Parisara Ratna” award at Taluk, District, State and National level for teachers who take a lead role in protection of environment. Have periodic follow up and refresher course of one/two weeks for the inservice teachers and teacher educators once in two years.
