8.  In University Advancement, I first learned to use a database – Agilon ONE.  At HSC, I created spreadsheets in which donor information was recorded and kept track of potential sponsors to contact.  At the EJC, I learned to use a lawyer database, Pika, in which cases are filed and kept track of electronically. 10.  Through volunteer work, I have come into contact with people of different cultures, religions, and backgrounds.  At Casa Marianella, I volunteered with refugees from Eritrea and Ethiopia and learned about their stories of arriving to the United States.  In the Dominican Republic, I was immersed in the culture, through work, food, music, and dance.
