2  Information and orientation Introduce the newcomers to Canadian life by providing information on different issues, such as housing, banking, English as Second Language, legal problems, social services, taxes, daycare, school registration, shopping, budgeting, the Police, Canadian values, Roles and responsibilities of landlords and tenants...  Adaptation and integration Provide group settlement sessions on topics relevant to the settlement needs of newcomers. Advocate and place phone calls for newcomers dealing with housing, social services, employment, employment Benefits, human rights, legal services...  Interpretation and translation  Counselling  Assistance with various forms and application  Referrals Establish and maintain comprehensive inventories of community resources liaise with other organizations and provide links between clients and resources such as health, cultural, educational, recreational, legal and other organizations and agencies

6  If you want to immigrate to Canada, there are a few different ways to apply. We will help you to decide which immigration program will work best for you and your family.  If you want to sponsor your spouse, dependent children or other family member, we can help you filled the application for a minimum fee.

7  Skilled workers and professionals For skilled people who want to settle and work in Canada  Canadian Experience Class For people who have recent Canadian work experience or have graduated and recently worked in Canada  Investors, entrepreneurs and self-employed people For people who want to start a business in Canada  Provincial nominees For skilled and unskilled people who are in Canada with a temporary work permit  Sponsoring your family For permanent resident or a Canadian citizen who want to sponsor a family member.

8  An application for Family Class sponsorship can be made if your spouse and dependent children live inside or outside Canada.  The application process involves two steps: 1. If you are a citizen or permanent resident of Canada, you must apply and qualify as a sponsor ; 2. Your spouse and dependent children must then apply for permanent residence. When you sponsor persons who are members of the family class, you must sign an undertaking promising to provide financial support for your family basic requirements and those of their family members. For a spouse, your undertaking will end three years after your spouse becomes a permanent resident.

9 You can sponsor:  parents  grandparents  brothers or sisters, nephews or nieces, granddaughters or grandsons who are orphaned, under 18 years of age and not married or in a common-law relationship  another relative of any age or relationship but only if the sponsor has no spouse or any other relative that can be sponsored.  accompanying relatives of the above (spouse, partner and dependent children).  If you are sponsoring a relative, other than a spouse or dependent children, you need to meet the financial requirements When you sponsor persons who are members of the family class, you must sign an undertaking promising to provide financial support for your family basic requirements and those of their family members. For relative, other than the spouse, your undertaking will end ten years after your relative becomes a permanent resident.
