17. THE NEW CORE STANDARDS This will be positive and covers numerous concepts I have taught for several years. I served on the committees to help develop the common district assessments (CDA). ALL PRE IB STUDENTS WILL BE TAKING THE SAME EOCT Core Standards have been adopted in 46 states.

18. What is a CDA? Stands for Common District Assessment Every Douglas County student enrolled in a high school math class will take the same exact test for that class (IE all Coordinate Algebra take the same unit tests). These are entered in the grade book and cannot be curved. They were designed by teachers in the county.

19. What is an EOCT? Stands for End of Course Test (the high school version of the CRCT). It is designed by the state and the procedures are identical to CRCT. This time it will be 20% of your students final average. This cannot be changed in any way. Students must past a math EOCT to graduate high school.
