1. Guiding Principles We embrace and celebrate the mission of the United Methodist Church of making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. We believe that our churches are “mission stations,” outposts for the work of God in the world. We believe the mission at all levels of the church should be well defined, laser-focused with measurable outcomes.
