8.  We have surveyed parents, young people and teachers........and....have found a worrying lack of understanding of the importance of maths, physics and art.  And we have undertaken in-depth interviews with....the UK’s video games and video effects employers, who reveal a real dissatisfaction with the talent pool available in the UK, which means that many have to recruit overseas instead.  Next Gen Report

9. ICT and Mathematics  The industries suffer from an education system that doesn’t understand their needs. This is reinforced by a school curriculum that focuses in ICT on office skills rather than the more rigorous computer science and programming skills
