5 Similarities Marriage – Able to marry at age 18 Marriage – Little polygamy

6 Similarities Transportation – Cars are driven Transportation – Taxis are used

7 Differences Language – Most of their people speak Classical Arabic Life – High illiteracy rate in Morocco

8 Differences Etiquette – Giving gifts when visiting a home there Etiquette – When a man and woman meet there, the woman extends her hand first

9 Differences Food – Most of their people eat food with their hands Work – Most companies there close between 11:15 AM – 3 PM for prayer

10 Differences Celebrations – They don’t celebrate many of our holidays Economy – They use the dirham

11 Differences Family – They’re men do the majority of the work Family – Most of they’re women stay home
