2. What is a stone fish!
It is small fish that grows to 35cm. It lives in North Australia. From Brisbane to Perth.
It looks like a black stone.
It is the most poisonous fish know the humans.
The attack only last for 0.15 sec.

3. Facts about the stone fish
It feeds on small fish or shrimps
There is a row of 13 venomous spines along its back

4. More facts It is only dangerous if you catch it or stand on it
The sting causes excruciating pain
It can make your tissue die
The poison can cause muscle weakness, paralysis and even death.

5. First aid
If you get stung it may help to soak the area in hot water otherwise you will to go to hospital for stone fish antivenom.
